COOAAFRO-RO accompanied a technical visit by a delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to the Frigomil meat plant in Pimenta Bueno, Rondônia. The main purpose was to see the facilities and carry out a technical assessment of the plant with a view to its approval for future business with the Congolese market.
During the visit, the delegation saw the plant’s structure, the slaughter, processing and storage operations, and the procedures in place to guarantee product quality and safety.
The technical assessment is an important stage in opening new commercial possibilities and in building a relationship of trust between companies in Rondônia and potential international partners.
COOAAFRO-RO‘s involvement reinforces its commitment to bringing companies from Rondônia closer to the international market, creating business opportunities and strengthening trade cooperation between Rondônia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The visit to Frigomil also shows the capacity of Rondônia’s agro-industry to meet international market requirements, contributing to export growth, job creation and regional economic development.
COOAAFRO-RO continues working to turn the opportunities identified during the international mission into concrete business, strengthening Rondônia’s presence in foreign trade.
