Congolese delegation makes a series of technical visits to COOAAFRO-RO partners

COOAAFRO-RO is strengthening trade relations between Rondônia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) through a series of technical visits made by a Congolese delegation to companies and producers partnered with the cooperative.

Over the course of the programme in Rondônia, the delegation was able to see different parts of regional production, visiting COOAAFRO-RO partner sites and observing at first hand the structure, production processes and supply capacity of each business.

The visits are part of a strategy to show the Congolese representatives the productive potential of Rondônia and to identify concrete business and partnership opportunities. The sectors visited include the production and marketing of food, sugar, beans, cornmeal, animal products, pig farming and other agribusiness activities.
