COOAAFRO-RO welcomed an important delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on a technical visit to one of its partner companies, with the aim of seeing production first-hand and assessing opportunities to supply beans to the Congolese market.
During the visit, the delegation toured the facilities and reviewed the production, processing, storage and marketing of the product, along with information on quality, supply capacity and logistics.
The initiative is part of COOAAFRO-RO’s work to broaden international trade relations and create new opportunities for Brazilian producers and companies, particularly those in Rondônia.
The Congolese delegation’s interest in beans grown and traded in Brazil shows Rondônia’s potential to enter new international markets, strengthening agriculture, cooperativism and business creation.
For COOAAFRO-RO, building closer ties with international partners and buyers is an important step towards a trade bridge between Rondônia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, opening the way for future negotiations and supply contracts.
The cooperative continues working to connect producers, partner companies and international markets, contributing to economic development and to the value placed on regional production.
